As we begin this round, Bruce has just gone all the way to the top of his guitar skills! Now, in order to fulfill his LTW, he needs to max out his painting skills.

Before I begin I have to clarify something…when I started up my game yesterday you can imagine my surprise when I saw that my Sunley family was still intact! I am indeed happy…thrilled…that I don’t have to start another legacy challenge!

So we continue….

Amber was really enjoying having older sister Angela living at the Sunley home. The two sisters spent most of their time together and kept the garden looking great!

Update Patch

When I turned on my computer to play a bit tonight, I got a message that a new update was available. So…I downloaded and installed it without problem. HOWEVER…when I tried to start the game I got this message:  Error. There was an error during start-up. Please see the log for more details.

I posted to the Sims 3 forum to see what I can do, or if this has happened to someone else.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t have to reinstall The Sims 3, as I don’t have a backup and all will be lost.

addendum:  all is not lost! woo-hoo!! I had to uninstall the Sims 3 and reinstall it, but I clicked on the option to save all my saved games. Wasn’t sure if it would work…but it did…which means that I don’t have to start all over. So I’m happy….and another update will come soon. 

Well, looks like I spoke too soon because, in fact, my saved games were NOT saved as I hoped. I will have to start completely over again…I reinstalled the game again…this time I will NOT be downloading the update/patch. And really, I have no intentions at this time to buy the new World Adventures expansion pack.

When I logged in to play, I received a notice that now would be a good time to visit Bella as she didn’t have much longer to live. Amber visited her friend’s house right away. Bella met her at the door and invited her in. Bella’s daughter, Kacey Bachelor,  is also friends with Amber.

As I begin playing this round, Charles Sunley, son of Bruce (generation 3) and Audrey, has just become a little bald toddler. With those dark eyebrows, however, there’s no question that he has inherited his grandfather Sam’s dark hair.

After a long wait, Audrey finally aged up to a YA. Once again, Bruce and Audrey were able to interact in a romantic way.

I start this post with a picture of the family – Cyclone3, with daughters Angela (Goth) and Amber…and with grandchildren Bruce and Bethany.  Angela is married to Mortimer Goth, but came over for a visit.

As I started to play the Sunley family, I noticed that Cyclone3 is 91 already…and seems to be going strong. I gotta tell you though…he already looks so thin as to be practically a skeleton! Have you ever seen such skinny legs in all your virtual days??? Iris has once again made a visit and she seems pleased. Her grandson Bruce definately got a positive boost from seeing her ghost (it was one of his wants).
